Job Description
Aurex is seeking a Test Subject Matter Expert with Assembly, Integration, and Test experience to lead and support Test and Evaluation activities across advanced space and software systems supporting national security missions. This role is responsible for ensuring programs are prepared to enter, execute, and successfully exit critical test phases, including Assembly, Integration, and Test milestones. You will work across engineering, program management, and government stakeholders to develop and execute test strategies that validate system performance and mission readiness. This role requires a technically strong leader who can connect system design to test execution, ensure disciplined test processes, and drive results in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. In this role, you will support and lead Test and Evaluation activities across space and software systems, ensuring alignment with program objectives and acquisition requirements. You will develop and execute test strategies, plans, reports, and briefings, while participating in test execution, verification, and analysis activities. You will support programs in entering and exiting Assembly, Integration, and Test milestones, ensuring readiness and compliance with test requirements. You will collaborate with government clients, Federally Funded Research and Development Centers, and contractor teammates to achieve program goals. You will contribute to continuous improvement of test processes and ensure clear communication across stakeholders at all levels.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience supporting DoD Test and Evaluation activities
- 7+ years of experience working Test and Evaluation on space systems
- 5+ years of experience working Test and Evaluation on software systems
- Experience supporting programs through Assembly, Integration, and Test milestones
- Experience working in a collaborative team environment developing test strategies, plans, reports, and briefings, and participating in test execution, verification, and analysis
- Ability to communicate effectively and establish collaborative relationships with government clients, Federally Funded Research and Development Centers, and contractor teammates
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently, demonstrating initiative to complete complex tasks
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Active Secret clearance
- Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline
Desired
- 2+ years of experience with software programs utilizing Agile methodologies
- 2+ years of experience working with software factories or DevSecOps pipelines
- 2+ years of experience with military SATCOM systems
- Experience planning, executing, and reporting for Lead Developmental Test Organizations or Operational Test Authorities
- Experience with tools such as Confluence or Jira
- ITEA Certified Test and Evaluation Professional (CTEP) certification or similar TandE certification
- Active TS/SCI clearance
- Master\'s degree
How You Will Be Rewarded
The salary range for this role is $165,000 - $195,000 per year.
