Description:The Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Skunks Works team is searching for an experienced Senior Administrative Assistant. This position provides administrative support to the Vice President, Innovation Portfolio. The successful candidate will perform a variety of administrative duties in support of the enterprise team.
This role serves as the initial contact for many senior-level customers. The candidate will need to bring outstanding communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to interface with all levels of internal and external customers.
Responsibilities include but are not limited:
• Resolving priorities in a constantly changing, fast paced environment
• Balancing workload priorities with short deadlines
• Mange complex executive calendar
• Coordinate and secure domestic and international travel arrangements
• Prepare and process expense reports
• As a delegate, reviews experience reports submitted to the VP by their direct reports in a timely fashion
• Arrange meetings, conferences, and offsites, including coordination across classified programs and security teams
• Receives, refers, or answers mail, to include review and properly re-directing email with appropriate follow-up
• Ability to handle basic budget management
• Review and update presentations - highly advanced in Microsoft Office applications such as Power Point, Word, and Excel strongly preferred
• Coordinate all facilities issues including office moves, order office supplies, manage conference rooms, set up of audio/visual systems and equipment
• Provide guidance and direction, as needed, to other administrative assistants in the Innovation Portfolio
• Responsible for cross-enterprise collaboration with internal and external executives' administrative assistants
• Event support and coordination, as required
• Coordination is critical in this function to ensure organizations are kept informed of emerging issues and information
• Able to maintain confidential information pertaining to Lockheed Martin operations, proprietary, and personnel matters
• Must be able to work flexible hours and overtime including evenings and weekends as needed
• Must be able to work independently and use personal initiative to formalize processes and streamline operations
Must be a US Citizen. Must be able to obtain a Top Secret Security Clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications:
Administrative assistant experience.
Experience in Microsoft Office Suite - Outlook, (specifically Outlook Calendar management), Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point.
Experience in managing emails, calendars & schedules.
Experience in domestic travel planning and expense reporting.
Desired Skills:
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to interface with all levels of internal and external customers.
Demonstrated analytical and research skill capabilities
Experience in coordinating facilities issues including office moves, order office supplies, and manage conference rooms, set up of audio/visual systems and equipment
Experience in facilitating the set-up of meetings which include coordinate, schedule and e-mail meeting notices involving multi-sites, reserve conference rooms, arrange video conference, prepare meeting rooms, print and post charts, set up teleconferences, and drive charts.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
