Description:Senior Quality Assurance Engineer (Level 3)

• Candidate will develop, modify, and maintain quality evaluation and control systems on specified programs within Advance Development Programs (ADP) (Skunk Works) in Palmdale CA.
• This includes collaborating with engineering and manufacturing counterparts to ensure quality requirements and standards are achieved.
• The candidate will design and implement inspection and testing processes including enabling new technologies based on business case analysis to achieve quality requirements in the most effective manner.
• Candidate will perform data analysis and identify corrective action and improvement opportunities.
• Maintains a DCMA/NASA/Customer quality relationship. Establishes and maintains effective Quality Program Team business rhythm.
• The selected candidate will ensure corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and that documentation is compliant with stated requirements.
• Areas of specialization may include flight test, design, production control, process analysis, product evaluation and reliability, or research and development as they apply to product or process quality.
• Certified in lean and six-sigma quality engineering methodologies a plus.
• Must be a US Citizen. This position supports a facility that requires special access.
• A Secret Clearance or Interim Secret Clearance required for position

Basic Qualifications:
• Knowledge of AS9100

• ASQ Certification or Quality related competencies

• Fluent in MS Office Suite

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to all levels of the organization

• Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) knowledge

• Experience with product development lifecycle on Aerospace Programs

• Flight Operations / Flightline Operations Experience
Desired Skills:
• Minimum 5 Years Aerospace of overall Quality experience or a combination of experience and education with an aeronautical environment

• Quality Assurance / Engineering / Production / Inspection experience

• Production Floor and subsystems installation and system checkouts experience

• Metrics Development, Process Analysis and Root Cause Analysis experience

• Experience using MS Excel for trending and analytics

• Experience Developing Inspection Plans

• Bachelors degree from an accredited degree

• Knowledge of First Article Inspection (FAI) AS9102

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $85,500 - $150,765. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
