This role serves as the primary interface between the engineering team and the operational fleet, ensuring the system is effectively integrated, tested, and validated in real-world naval environments.
- Acting as the primary point of contact between the program team and Navy fleet unit
- Coordinating with ship crews, strike groups, and TYCOMs to schedule system installations, tests, and operational events
- Translating operational needs into actionable feedback for engineering teams
- Planning and executing system test events both pier-side and underway
- Supporting developmental and operational test phases, including data collection and performance assessment
- Developing test plans, procedures, and after-action reports
- Embedding with fleet units during exercises to support real-world system use
- Training operators on system capabilities, limitations, and CONOPS
- Providing real-time troubleshooting and operational support during exercises
- Capturing operator feedback and translate it into system requirements or enhancements
- Working closely with systems engineering to refine RF performance, usability, and reliability
- Supporting iterative development in an Agile/DevSecOps environment

Requirements
- Prior U.S. Navy experience as a Cryptologic Technician (Technical) (CTT), or Electronic Warfare (EW) operator
- Direct experience with:
- Shipboard RF systems
- Spectrum management, SIGINT, or EW operations
- Strong understanding of:
- Naval operations and fleet structure
- Communications in contested/degraded environments
- Experience participating in:
- Fleet exercises (COMPTUEX, SWATT, etc.)
- At-sea operations
- Ability to operate independently in dynamic fleet environments
- Strong communication skills across technical and operational audiences
- Credibility with Navy operators and leadership
- Comfortable working both onboard ships and within engineering teams
Desired Skills
- Experience supporting DoD acquisition or test programs
- Familiarity with test planning and execution (DT/OT)
- Exposure to Agile or iterative development environments
- Background working with system engineers or development teams
- Active Top Secret / SCI clearance
