Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties:
1) Providing quality assurance assistance involving shipbuilding, ship repairs, and quality management systems
2) Developing corrective action requests when identifying non-conformance and non-compliance to requirements for all facets of ship repair
3) Performing quality assurance (QA) evaluations and assessments for shipbuilding and ship repair processes
4) Conducting audits and surveillance of shipbuilding and ship repair processes
5) Certified training and experience in non-destructive testing, visual/dimensional inspection (VT), liquid penetrant (PT).

Conditions of Employment :
This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
This position requires incumbent to perform temporary duty travel approximately 25% of his/her time. Travel may be on short notice and/or for extended periods of time.
You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver's license.
Certified training and experience in non-destructive testing. Must be sufficiently qualified to become a certified non-destructive inspector, in accordance with JFMM 4790.3 Vol. 7, Ch. 11, in visual/dimensional inspection (VT), liquid penetrant (PT)
Certified training and experience in shipboard preservation. Must be sufficiently qualified to become a NAVSEA Certified Navy Basic Paint Inspector or equivalent.
Must be able to satisfactorily complete the Commander Navy Regional Maintenance Center (CNRMC) workforce development training.

- You will administer a contractor surveillance program for adherence to contract requirements.
- You will manage a quality assurance (QA) program to ensure products, services, or equipment meet validated life-cycle standards.
- You will compare contracts with quality assurance (QA) plans to confirm program requirements are met.
- You will conduct nonnuclear nondestructive test (NDT) inspections in accordance with requirements.
- You will coordinate quality assurance (QA) methods for reviewing work on ship repairs or modifications.

- Incumbent is required to perform the above duties at a variety of job sites. It is the incumbent's responsibility to transport him/herself in an expeditious manner between job sites within duty station or TDY location.
