- You will perform all maintenance functions required for all equipment and weapon systems processed through the Maintenance Center Forward in support of several significant Marine Corps wide programs.
- You will fit and install parts, such as pistons, valves, bearing, gears, and cylinders to appropriate tolerances, makes changes or modifications in accordance with specifications and guidelines.
- You will perform duties as the Working Leader for other Heavy Mobile Equipment Mechanics, other journeymen, workers, and helpers.
- You will act as the Supervisor in the absence of the supervisor.
- You will be required to maintain a Technician Certification, which is required to inspect own workmanship and the quality of the product worked / processed.
- You will ensure any related delays are properly and accurately recorded and/or reported in accordance with local policy and procedures.

- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card to make official government purchases for goods and services.

- This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- The employee must perform duties as a CPI. Performs inspection of repair, modification, and/or rebuild work done by others on a variety of Heavy Mobile Equipment.
