Responsibilities:
- Serve as primary point of contact for program and project acquisition matters.
- Oversee contract execution, administration, and required actions such as re-competes, closeouts, options, or extensions.
- Conduct acquisition planning, including statements of work, evaluation plans, and procurement strategies.
- Perform contract administration activities such as monitoring performance, approving payments, verifying deliveries, and resolving disputes.
- Prepare, review, and negotiate contract modifications and related documentation.
- Apply price and cost analysis techniques to evaluate contractor proposals, pricing structures, and cost data.
- Support development and management of budgets for planned procurements.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, executive orders, and procurement procedures.
- Conduct pre-award and post-award functions, including solicitation development, proposal evaluation, and contract closeout.
- Provide authoritative recommendations to improve procurement operations and customer service.
- Manage complex, high-value, and sensitive procurement programs.
- Conduct financial and capability analyses of contractors, including review of profit and loss statements and operational systems.
- Support award and administration of assistance agreements.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to less experienced team members.
- Participate in team meetings, providing status updates and input on process improvements .
Requirements:
- US Citizen
- Ability to obtain/maintain customer clearance
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
- Four (4) or more years of directly related experience in federal contracting
- DAWIA or FAC-C Level III certification, or other commercial qualifications
