Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) operating a computer terminal and related computer equipment to create, compose, edit, calculate, revise, retrieve, store, print, and copy a wide range of documents in draft and final form; 2) Skill in software similar to MS Word and Excel to produce and edit correspondence, awards, reports, graphs, calendars, statistics, mailing labels, tables, etc.; 3) maintaining and updating files on policies and directives; 4) replenishing office supplies, setting up administrative controls and suspense dates, and performing other related clerical support functions.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
Education
In lieu of general/specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
- successful completion of four years of education above high school level
OR
- a combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience

- You will create, compose, edit, calculate, revise, retrieve, store, print, and copy a wide range of documents in draft and final form.
- You will update or revise existing databases and spreadsheets, reformatting or manipulating spreadsheets to meet reporting requirements.
- You will be responsible for correct spelling, grammar, capitalization, punctuation, and proper format.
- You will transmit, receive, and acknowledge electronic mail and messages.
- You will receive and answer routine telephone inquiries or refers to appropriate staff member if necessary.
- You will assist command personnel with travel orders and vouchers.
- You will manage the fitness report/evaluation tickler for report date due.
- You will serve as primary or alternate civilian personnel liaison for the command.
