PDS Defense, Inc. is seeking a Material Handler - Level 1, in Tempe, AZ. Job ID#216721
Job Description:
• Loading and Unloading: Handle the loading and unloading of materials within the warehouse or storage facility.
• Equipment Operation: Utilize hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, conveyors, or other handling equipment to move materials to and from aircraft, trucks, trains, and within the storage area.
• Inventory Management: Verify incoming deliveries, label products, and maintain an updated inventory record. • Returns Handling: Process returns by completing necessary documentation and communication.
• Equipment Maintenance: Ensure material handling equipment is well-maintained through regular inspections.
• Collaboration: Work with internal departments to locate missing packages, correct delivery errors, and replace damaged products.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Physical Stamina: Frequent heavy lifting requires physical strength and coordination.
• Organizational Skills: Sort and manage inventories accurately.
• Basic Math Skills: Count and measure quantities precisely.
• Experience: Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a related position. (0-2 years)
• Communication: Strong communication skills for collaboration.
• Attention to Detail: Be precise in labeling, inventory tracking, and handling procedures.
