OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a highly specialized Enterprise Architect to support the Zero Trust team. This expert will be responsible for applying the rigorous of UAF and DoDAF frameworks to design and document a comprehensive Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA). The successful candidate will translate complex Zero Trust security principles into standardized architectural blueprints, ensuring our security implementation is technically sound, fully documented, and aligned with critical Department of War / Intelligence Community operational objectives.

We are seeking a highly specialized Enterprise Architect to support the Zero Trust team. This expert will be responsible for applying the rigorous of UAF and DoDAF frameworks to design and document a comprehensive Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA). The successful candidate will translate complex Zero Trust security principles into standardized architectural blueprints, ensuring our security implementation is technically sound, fully documented, and aligned with critical Department of War / Intelligence Community operational objectives.
GENERAL DUTIES:
- Translate Zero Trust principles (e.g., universal authentication, micro- segmentation, granular access policies) into formal, standardized DoDAF /UAF artifacts.
- Develop Operational Views (OVs) to map and analyze mission-critical processes and data flows within the Zero Trust framework.
- Create Systems Views (SVs) to detail the specific ZTA components, including Policy Enforcement Points, Policy Engines, and Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) systems.
- Design and model Data and Information Views (DIVs) to define data access rights, data classification, and secure data flow across the enterprise.
- Produce a comprehensive and formal architectural blueprint for the Zero Trust implementation that serves as the authoritative source for all stakeholders.
- Ensure the designed architecture aligns with all DoD interoperability standards, security protocols, and strategic mission goals.
- Provide clear, consistent, and detailed documentation to guide developers, engineers, and project managers during the implementation and lifecycle of the ZTA.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 12 years of experience in Cybersecurity architecting and engineering
- 5 years of experience in developing a Zero Trust Architecture and/or implementing Zero Trust principles and capabilities
- Master's Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science or similar field
- Technical expertise in the areas to include security architecture, network architecture, identity credential and access management (ICAM) and access management, cloud and application security
CLEARANCE:
- Active Top Secret clearance required
