Job Description

COLSA is seeking a strategic and highly organized Action Officer to support our customer within U.S. Army Materiel Command (AMC) at Redstone Arsenal. In this role, you will support AMC programs by coordinating, tracking, and integrating operational efforts across a diverse set of stakeholders. Serving as a key liaison between leadership, installations, and field teams, you will ensure taskers, projects, and priorities are executed efficiently, communicated effectively, and aligned with mission objectives

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential functions)
  • Monitor and track installation metering integration progress, providing regular status updates and briefings to customers to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Review active projects and implementation tasks, offering guidance on required formats, expectations, and adherence to suspense dates.
  • Assign installations and taskers to team members to streamline communication between installations and the Field Support Team.
  • Prepare and deliver clear, concise briefings to customers and leadership, fostering trust, collaboration, and shared understanding.
  • Consolidate tasker responses, comments, and recommendations for presentation to AMC AMP Leadership and Program Management, supporting mission priorities.
  • Develop and maintain tracking tools (e.g., site posture worksheets) to document correspondence and provide real-time project status updates.
  • Coordinate, integrate, and synchronize project activities and schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and system owners to support seamless integration efforts aligned with organizational goals and security standards.
  • Monitor team performance and progress, ensuring duties and deliverables are completed in accordance with program requirements.

Required Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Technical discipline, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in an Action Officer, Staff Officer, Program Analyst, or similar role
  • Experience supporting DoD, Army, or federal programs, preferably in a headquarters or command-level environment
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment
  • Strong understanding of DoD or Army organizational structures, processes, and tasker management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience briefing senior leaders
  • Proven ability to track, manage, and report on multiple efforts simultaneously
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • Active Secret clearance; U.S Citizenship required
