***This position requires a current Tier I (Public Trust) clearance ***

The contractor shall provide personnel escort and monitoring support for multiple contractors and vendors that do not have the required security clearance for access to projects and other construction sites supporting the 35 CES (Misawa Air Base). Projects include but limited to "in and around" SCIF and other secure (exterior), flightline building, mission storage igloos, and other projects sites as determined by the government. Escorting/monitoring will include uncleared personnel on numerous project (facilities) locations around the base. Monitoring personnel shall remain with uncleared individuals for the duration of their work within Misawa Air Base facilities.

Compensation & Benefits:

Estimated Starting Salary Range for Security Visitor Escort: Pay commensurate with experience.

Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.

Security Visitor Escort/Monitoring Responsibilities Include:

• Escorts/monitors visitors within facilities/office spaces (as necessary) and in designated project locations. Also, taking measures to ensure that visitors are not inadvertently or unwittingly exposed to classified or sensitive materials which they should not see, overhear, or otherwise obtain access.
• Escorts will also ensure that uncleared personnel do not stray from any project site (designated area).
• Steers visitors away from desks, tabletops, computer screens, files, bookshelves, bulletin boards, etc.
• Advise employees working in areas being visited that uncleared persons are in the vicinity and to exercise appropriate precautions, as necessary.
• Maintains positive control of persons being escorted/monitored to include maintaining visibility of those individuals at all times.
• Enforces base procedural rules and regulations pertaining to visitors.
• Ensures the safety of visitors, staff, property, and information.
• If required, politely inquires if visitors have a visitor or employee badge. If they do not, they shall escort the individual to the Guards Visitor in-take area with government approval (and within established government procedures).
• Notifies the Office of Security and Guard Staff of any incidents involving visitors, along with the 35 CES client and Contracting Office.
• Maintains accurate records activities within the confines of the project location and document any discrepancies noted throughout their work cycle.
• Remains with guests at all times and remains off personal devices while escorting.
• Follows established government protocols for each building entered.
• Utilizes the most direct unclassified route to each destination.
• Verifies names and appointment dates. Verify project work schedule with the Escort Program Lead and 35 CES client.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Security Visitor Escorts Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:

• High School Diploma required and 3 years of relevant experience is preferred.
• Must have a Tier 1 Clearance.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and pleasant positive demeanor.
• Must be able to function solely or as part of a team.
• Ability to wear the prescribed directed uniform (along with appropriate personal protective equipment) and maintain a professional appearance.
• Ability to resolve complaints and concerns.
• Ability to use established base procedures.
• Ability to communicate orally and in writing in English. Use of Japanese language would be highly beneficial.
• Possess basic computer skills.
• Basic experience with Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
• Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
