Job Description
Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an Human Resources Manager to support a growing subsidiary of an industry leading aerospace manufacturer located in Fairfax, VA. This role will oversee all aspects of Human Resources including employee relations, benefits, compensation, compliance, and performance management while partnering closely with senior leadership to support business objectives.

Responsibilities for the Human Resources Manager include:
- Oversee day-to-day HR operations, including employee relations, onboarding, performance management, and compliance
- Manage and resolve employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, PIPs, and terminations
- Administer employee benefits programs, including annual renewals, vendor management, open enrollment, and issue resolution
- Manage 401(k) administration, including fund review, nondiscrimination testing, and audit/filing requirements
- Support compensation and performance strategies, including salary adjustments, bonus planning, and performance cycles
- Lead onboarding and new hire orientation processes
- Drive employee engagement initiatives, including company events and internal programs
- Prepare and present HR metrics and headcount reporting for executive leadership and Board of Directors meetings
- Ensure compliance with HR laws, regulations, and corporate policies, staying current on industry best practices
- Partner with senior leadership to develop and execute workforce and staffing strategies
- Manage HR administrative functions including salary letters, verifications, and employee records
- Deliver training programs, including compliance and ethics training
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams (Operations, IT, Security, Logistics) and external stakeholders
Qualifications for the Human Resources Manager include:
- Bachelor's Degree required
- 10+ years of HR operations experience
- Experience in a mid-sized (500+ employees) government contracting environment preferred
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and compliance requirements
- Experience managing benefits, compensation, and performance programs
- PHR or SPHR certification preferred
- Must be able to obtain a TS/SCI clearance
Compensation for the Human Resources Manager includes:
- Salary Range: $110,000 - $140,000 depending on experience
