[Responsibilities]
- Analyze requirements and design embedded software solutions for real-time systems.
- Implement, test, and validate embedded C/C++ software on Xilinx UltraScale and PolarFire hardware.
- Integrate Linux and FreeRTOS operating systems onto embedded platforms.
- Develop and maintain device drivers for specialized hardware interfaces.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to support system-level integration and testing.
- Participate in formal software qualification and documentation processes.
[Required Skills and Experience]
- Active SECRET security clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 1 year of embedded C/C++ software development experience.
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience embedding Linux on Xilinx UltraScale or similar boards.
- At least 1 year of experience with FreeRTOS on PolarFire or similar platforms.
- Minimum 1 year of device driver development.
[Preferred Skills]
- Experience with missile programs or missile telemetry.
- Proficiency in HW/SW integration, Hardware-In-the-Loop, and Integrated Flight Simulation.
- Background in algorithm development and implementation, especially Guidance Navigation Control.
- Familiarity with embedded processors and real-time operating systems.
