Job Title: Sr. Systems Engineer

Responsibilities
Support the update of the Family of Advanced Beyond-Line-of-Sight Terminals Command Post Terminal (FAB-T CPT) Technical Requirements Document (TRD) by providing recommended updates based on technical research and feedback from the government team.
Ensure the FAB-T CPT TRD accurately captures the requirements and supports the successful execution of Satellite Communications (SATCOM) Modernization contracts.
Support Airborne Production Restart (APR) government Integrated Development Environment (IDE) and contractor IDE standup, ensuring they meet the needs of the Survivable Air Operations Center (SAOC) program and the Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center Strategic Communications Division.
Develop enterprise-level briefings on cryptographic component needs, including building graphics, taking minutes, and providing slide recommendations.
Coordinate and ensure operational readiness for upcoming platforms and existing users.
Update trackers on requests for variance and change notices, and recommend responses to the government.
Create and improve summary graphics for division leadership presentations.
Address open issues related to FAB-T CPT timely under current or upcoming contract actions.
Requirements
10+ years experience in systems engineering.
Experience across all stages of the system development life cycle from initiation through deployment/sustainment.
Experience with Systems Engineering Technical Review (SETR) support (e.g., TRR, SRR, CDR) and integration with AFLCMC/WBD – B-Kit/A-Kit.
Proficiency in requirements management (supporting SRD, CDD), Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), technical evaluations, and risk management.
Experience with RFP development, including requirements analysis and source selection criteria.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint and Teams, including data management and Power Platform integration.
Experience with automation tools and platforms.
Demonstrated proficiency in process modeling and workflow diagram development.
Ability to elicit and interpret requirements into technical specifications following best practices.
Capability to perform problem/gap analysis, trade space analysis, roadmapping, set-based design, MODA, and cost-capability trade-offs.
Excellent communication skills for technical presentations and visual data communication.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and understand strategic and tactical project approaches.
