Job Description

Sellers & Associates, LLC (S&A) is seeking an Waterfront Onsite Representative to work in Norfolk, VA.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in coordinating the successful installations of machinery alterations (MACHALTs) on naval ships. You will work closely with ship's force, RMC, SURFLANT, TYCOMM, AITs, and other commands/teams to ensure MACHALTs are successfully installed on all classes of ships across the waterfront.

Job Responsibilities
Coordinate waterfront meetings as needed for MACHALT installs
Liaise between the PMs and the install teams, ship, port engineer and any other waterfront government agency
Ensure all applicable documentation is correct and in place prior to installation commencement
Conduct ship checks as required
Provide installation coordination, technical oversight, testing, and documentation completion for all MACHALT installations
Support RMMCO check in/out as needed by local On-site Installation Coordinator (OSIC)
Ensure all installation drawing or instruction changes are properly documented and communicated to the appropriate POC
Support post-installations lessons learned meetings
Assist OSIC with any post installation testing/training as needed


Salary Range: $100,00K - $110,000K

Must Have Skills
Demonstrated experience and comprehension of Navy surface ship operations, HM&E systems, combat systems, weapon systems and associated components
Knowledge of the Joint Fleet Maintenance Manual (JFMM), NAVSEA Standard Items (NSIs), NAVSEA 9090-310, as well as other applicable HM&E technical documentation
Physically able to access Naval ships and lift up to 35 lbs
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent organizational, presentation and interpersonal skills
Ability to work with other teams across multiple technologies and platforms to create, edit, and submit a common product at or before established milestones
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities (KSAs)
