Job Description
JOB OVERVIEW:
The General Maintenance Worker repairs building structures and mechanical, electrical and sanitary systems, and performs general maintenance on machinery.
• Perform general maintenance of buildings and equipment requiring practical skill and knowledge in such tasks as carpentry, painting, lawn maintenance, masonry, electrical, or plumbing activities
• Operate gardening and grounds care equipment as required
• Perform operator maintenance on all equipment used in the execution of duties and report higher echelon maintenance requirements to appropriate personnel
• Assist with equipment turn-in and hand receipt maintenance, as required
• Work flexible hours as required by the customer including weekends and holidays
• Work overtime as required
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must have a current state and Government Driver’s License
• Experience performing general maintenance of buildings and equipment.
• Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions up to 75% of the workday.
• Must be able to climb ladders potentially as high as a two-story building.
• Be available to work flexible hours as required by the customer including weekends and holidays.
• Be available to work overtime as required.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
• Clearance Level: Secret (Must have an active DoD security clearance or be able to obtain one)
