Job Description
Position Title: Cybersecurity Compliance Engineer
Location: Panama City Beach, FL
Clearance: Top Secret (preferred) or Secret (required)
Position Overview
ISPA Technology is seeking two Cybersecurity Compliance Engineers to support cybersecurity controls, STIG implementation, and RMF-aligned sustainment activities. These roles are ideal for engineers who know that compliance is not paperwork alone—it is the daily engineering work of configuration, validation, remediation, evidence capture, and risk communication. You will help align systems with cyber requirements, improve hardening posture, and support the artifacts and technical actions required to operate in a security-governed environment.
What You Will Do
Implement, assess, and maintain STIG-aligned hardening across supported systems and environments.
Support RMF-related activities including control implementation evidence, artifact updates, remediation coordination, and technical input to authorization or sustainment processes.
Work with system owners, platform teams, and test personnel to identify gaps, apply corrective actions, and verify closure.
Assist with vulnerability review, configuration validation, and cybersecurity control documentation.
Track findings, remediation status, exceptions, and engineering decisions in a disciplined, audit-ready manner.
Help create procedures and repeatable workflows that make compliance activities more efficient and more technically grounded.
Technical Environment
DISA STIG implementation and validation
RMF-aligned control sustainment
Cybersecurity controls and remediation workflows
Configuration review and evidence collection
Documentation for audits, assessments, and technical compliance support
Required Qualifications
Experience with STIGs, cybersecurity hardening, or compliance engineering in enterprise or mission environments.
Working knowledge of RMF concepts and the relationship between technical implementation and authorization evidence.
Ability to analyze findings, recommend remediation, and coordinate technical closure.
Strong written documentation and organizational discipline.
Ability to work across systems, cyber, and engineering stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting ACAS results, control narratives, POA&M-style remediation tracking, or formal cyber inspections.
Familiarity with Windows, Linux, virtualization, or network device hardening.
Relevant cybersecurity certifications or experience in regulated defense environments.
Why ISPA Technology
Work on meaningful defense and mission-support engineering problems with experienced technical teams.
Contribute across automation, cyber, platforms, networking, integration, and test—not just one narrow lane.
Join a culture that values ownership, technical depth, curiosity, and practical execution.
Live and work in Panama City Beach, Florida, with direct access to a growing technical mission hub.
We are looking for engineers who combine technical depth with practical execution—people who can turn complexity into clarity, and design into dependable results.
