Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Level 5 System Integration/Testing Engineer to lead the integration, test, and verification of advanced Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) and Satellite-Based Augmentation System (SBAS) solutions. The role involves applying rigorous systems-engineering and software-development processes, ensuring compliance with industry-standard development-assurance guidelines, and delivering high-reliability navigation capabilities for our commercial customers.
Integration & Test Lead - Develop and execute integration, test, and verification (IT&V) plans for GNSS/SBAS hardware and software, including test-procedure creation, test execution, data analysis, and reporting.
Assurance Standards Application - Apply SAE ARP4754A, SAE ARP4761, RTCA DO-178C, DO-278A, and/or DO-254 as appropriate to ensure safety, reliability, and airworthiness.
Risk & Safety Analysis - Conduct hazard assessments, FMEA, and other safety analyses; mitigate technical and program risks.
Cross-Disciplinary Coordination - Work closely with software, hardware, RF, electrical, and mission-operations teams to resolve integration issues.
Mentorship & Expertise - Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and serve as a subject-matter expert on GNSS/SBAS technologies.
Stakeholder Interaction - Communicate status, risks, and technical findings to customers, suppliers, and subcontractors.

Basic Qualifications:
• Familiar with the application of systems engineering and software development processes to the design, development, integration, test, and verification of complex systems.
• Experience with Global Navigation Satellite System (e.g. GPS, Galileo, etc.)
• Experience with the application of one or more of the following development assurance standards: SAE ARP4754A, SAE ARP4761, RTCA DO-178, RTCA DO-278A, and RTCA DO-254
• Must have an Interim Secret Clearance to start with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance. (Must be a U.S. Citizen)
Desired Skills:
• Satellite Based Augmentation System experience
• Systems engineering background (requirements, design, interfaces, etc.)
• Safety certification experience
• Willingness / ability to travel
• Secret clearance
