Position Summary
Odyssey Systems has an exciting new part-time opportunity for a NAVWAR/PNT/GPS Analyst (User Segment) supporting United States Space Force (USSF) Combat Forces Command (CFC) Global Mission Operations (S35G) Division at Peterson SFB CO. CFC S35G provides operational, policy and sourcing guidance to Air Staff, organizations, and subordinate units in support of the Navigation Warfare (NAVWAR) and Global Positioning System (GPS). GPS provides 24/7/365 space-based Positioning, Navigation, & Timing (PNT) in accordance with The Space-Based PNT Policy (SPD-7) to maintain GPS as the international gold standard for satellite navigation systems for 6+ billion military and civilian worldwide users. This position serves as the primary GPS User Equipment Segment Analyst and supports current and future operations to deliver military and civilian PNT/GPS and NAVWAR through operational capability requirements authorship,
concept development, acquisition oversight, and NAVWAR enhancement.
This is a part-time position located in Building 1, Peterson SFB CO.

Responsibilities
Duties includ e, but not limited to:
- Provides GPS User Segment inputs to the NAVWAR/PNT/GPS Programmatic Risk Assessment Report
- Develops and refines various NAVWAR/PNT/GPS documents, including security classification/declassification
guidance; Precise (Protected) PPS and SPS Performance Standards - Drives the refinement of support agreements and memoranda with a variety of PNT/GPS stakeholders
- Supports current and future operations to deliver military and civilian PNT/GPS through interfaces with DOD,
Joint, USSF, all military Services, and USG civilian departments - Analyzes issues to advise the OCA with courses-of-action
- Represents the team in PNT/GPS forums, including Integrated Product Team meetings, program and design
reviews, System Security WG, Program Protection WG, Threat Steering and Program Protections WGs, and
Technical Interchange Meetings with a focus on PNT/GPS User Segment delivery of NAVWAR capabilities - Supports operational requirement development by supporting requirements meetings, reviewing JCIDS/JFR
documents, and preparing CFC S35G requirement draft documentation including but not limited to: Analysis of
Alternatives, Capabilities Based Assessment (CBA) and AF Form 1067s - Drives development of concepts and analyses in support of future PNT/GPS civil and military operations, to
include the addition of enhanced capabilities and secondary payloads - Evaluates emerging threats to the NAVWAR/PNT/GPS Enterprise to provide recommendations to CFC S35G
on appropriate inputs to the requirements development process - Provides technical support for configuration control reviews; test and evaluation planning; specification
development; and Joint Service processes, doctrine, and operational tasking methodology - Develops NAVWAR plans, operational authorizations, and NAVWAR projects to ensure operational transition
to deliver warfighting capability - Ensures first pass acceptance through rigorous tech editing and traceability
