Accountant II -FBwT

Summary Role Desc: Develop and assist in the execution of audit remediation controls using government accounting principles and data analytics tools. Leverage accounting and data management knowledge to support audit testing, assessments of financial statements, and government disbursement system reconciliations.

Required qualifications:

· Active/Interim Secret clearance

· Working knowledge or recent experience with business management and/or financial management principles

· Working knowledge or recent experience with government accounting principles

· Working knowledge or recent experience with scripting languages (SQL, Python), databases (AWS S3, Databricks), and analytical tools (Tableau, Power BI)

· Ability to work under strict deadlines and high-intensity periods of auditor testing

· Ability to co-locate to Joint Base Andrews

Additional desired skillsets (nice to haves but not necessarily required):

· Knowledge of government systems (GAFS, DEAMS, DDRS, etc.)

· Familiarity with the Operational AF Financial Data Structure and Operational AF data Dictionary

· Financial statement audit experience
