Duration: Long-term contract (5 years)
Clearance: Must be eligible for Public Trust (U.S. Citizen)

Our client seeks a System Integration and Test Engineer to integrate and test complex software systems in physical and virtual lab environments. The role will perform formal and site-based testing, execute documented procedures, and troubleshoot system and network issues in collaboration with engineering and software teams. Success will require proficiency with Linux, PXE, OS configuration, Bash, XML, and network diagnostics. The position is onsite in Gaithersburg, MD with domestic travel.
Rate: $45.00 to $55.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities:
- Perform testing in physical and virtual test labs.
- Debug system-level issues and provide detailed supporting data.
- Execute test procedures.
- Coordinate and plan testing activities.
- Perform formal test execution with the customer.
- Conduct testing at operational sites.
Experience Requirements:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in system integration and testing.
- Strong integration skills with hands-on experience integrating large, complex software systems.
- Strong technical skills to identify and analyze issues with support from engineering and software teams.
- Ability to follow a documented Integration and Test Development Process.
- Proficiency with Linux, PXE, and OS configuration.
- Proficiency with Bash.
- Ability to troubleshoot network configurations.
- Experience working with XML.
- Eligible for Public Trust Clearance.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to work onsite in Gaithersburg, MD with up to 25% domestic travel.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
