our client seeks a Sr. Systems Engineer to manage and secure enterprise Windows and macOS endpoints for a high-visibility federal mission. The role will support classified and high-security environments, deliver compliant endpoint services, and drive operational stability within an Agile model. The engineer will handle imaging, patching, vulnerability remediation, and Tier 3 support while communicating risks and solutions to stakeholders. Responsibilities:
- Work as part of a collaborative team delivering technical solutions within the highest levels of the federal government.
- Manage endpoint imaging, patching, and vulnerability remediation across enterprise environments.
- Support and operate enterprise endpoint management tools and platforms.
- Resolve Tier 3 endpoint issues in support of a service desk and mission operations.
- Maintain secure, compliant Windows and macOS client environments.
- Participate in Agile execution and continuous improvement activities.
- Communicate technical issues, solutions, and risks with stakeholders.
- Build and maintain customer trust through technical expertise and reliability.
- Apply sound engineering judgment to deliver solutions aligned to customer needs.
Experience Requirements:
- Active Top Secret clearance with current or previously held SCI access.
- Required certifications: Microsoft MD-102 and Security+.
- DoD 8140 certification aligned to the 451 System Administrator work role such as Security+, Cloud+, SSCP, CASP+, or CISSP.
- 5+ years of IT experience focused on endpoint and client device management across Windows 11, macOS Sequoia and Tahoe, and Apple iOS.
- Hands-on experience with OS imaging, patch management, performance troubleshooting, and vulnerability remediation in enterprise environments.
- Experience managing full lifecycle of endpoint devices including provisioning, configuration, maintenance, and decommissioning.
- Operational Tier 3 endpoint support experience with advanced troubleshooting and issue resolution.
- Administration experience with endpoint management platforms such as Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager, Microsoft Intune, Jamf, Tanium, or BigFix.
- Ability to contribute immediately in a mission-critical operational environment.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in an IT-related field preferred.
- Microsoft MD-102 certification.
- CompTIA Security+ certification.
- DoD 8140-aligned certification such as Security+, Cloud+, SSCP, CASP+, or CISSP.
