Job Description
MTSI is seeking a Maintenance Manual Manager to support an AFLCMC System Program Office (SPO). The manager will be responsible for the initial development and lifecycle management of the overall maintenance concept for multiple platform systems and subsystems.
As the primary weapon system liaison between the User community, the SPO, and relevant MAJCOMs, the manager will lead the development of the maintenance program by integrating information from platform operators, maintainers, testers, engineers, and logisticians to establish the system's overarching supportability strategy. They will be responsible for ensuring this maintenance concept is effectively translated into technical documentation and directives for the operational community. This includes managing the certification and validation process to ensure the safe and effective maintenance of the weapon system(s).
The manager will ensure that timely updates and directives are issued to field units and will oversee reviews with all appropriate organizations. Furthermore, the manager will be responsible for evolving the maintenance concept in line with weapon system modifications and modernization efforts.
The ideal candidate must have significant experience with USAF maintenance principles and technical data (such as TO 00-5-1, TO 00-20-1, AFI 21-101, AFPD 21-3, and AFI 21-303) and be able to communicate effectively to enable the successful execution of the SPO's mission. The individual will work within highly classified workspaces (Top Secret (TS) Special Access Program (SAP) and Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (SCI) environments) daily and must have experience working with SAP and other highly classified documents.

Responsibilities:
Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to:
• Serve as System Program Office (SPO) representative for weapon system acquisition and sustainment.
• Act as System Program Office (SPO) representative and liaison between SPO, Industry, and relevant Major Commands (MAJCOMs)/Using Commands.
• Assist the MAJCOM with the development, lifecycle management, and implementation of the overall maintenance Concept of Operations (CONOPS).
• Assist the Product Support Manager in establishing/implementing the system's overarching product support strategy.
• Integrate critical input from a wide range of stakeholders including platform operators, maintainers, testers, engineers, and logisticians.
• Oversee the effective translation of the maintenance concept into clear technical documentation, manuals, and directives for the operational community.
• Manage the certification and validation process to ensure all maintenance procedures for the weapon system are proven to be safe and effective.
• Ensure timely updates and directives are issued to field units and oversee comprehensive reviews with all partner organizations.
• Ensure proper training courseware and devices are developed and available, and that training classes are executed to ensure safe and effective operations and maintenance.
Qualifications Required:
• Master's degree and 4+ years' project management experience, or bachelor's degree and 6+ years' project management experience, associate's degree and 8+ years' project management experience, or high school diploma (or GED) and 11+ years' project management experience.
Clearance Requirements:
Must possess an active DoD Top Secret (TS) security clearance (with SCI and SAP eligibility)
