Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Prioritizing Combat Systems (CS) and, Hull, Mechanical, and Electrical (HM&E) workloads for fleet technical support and field service engineering assignments and; 2) Interacting with ships Port Engineers and Maintenance Material Management Coordinators (3MCs) for up lining of work requests; and; 3) Analyzing and evaluating the effectiveness of line program operations to meet established goals and objectives. - You will assist and provide diving and salvage coordination for underwater ship husbandry, hull cleaning, emergency ship salvage material, oil spill response and contingency operations.
- You will use computer software (e.g. Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access) to generate reports on department workload and mission situational briefs.
- You will maintain a status tracking system of organizational workload to manage work commitments.
- You will analyze ship maintenance and modernization business proposals to allocate time, manpower, or other requirements.
- You will direct administrative functions required to execute the day to day operations of an organization.
- You will use maintenance and readiness databases (e.g., Maintenance and Material Management [3M], Current Ship's Maintenance Project [CSMP]), and Fleet Technical Support [FTS} systems to make material readiness assessments.

- This position may require travel to places within and outside the contiguous United States which could include remote or isolated sites. You may be required to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- If eligible for permanent change of station, the appointee will be required to sign a transportation agreement to establish a Government time in service requirement of 12 months.
