Job Description

At GCI, we solve the hard problems. As an Intel Ops Support, a typical day will include the following duties:

Play a critical role in analyzing information and making solid, reliable recommendations. A successful candidate will be motivated and analytical with a passion for working with complex data and developing innovative solutions. You will be responsible for the below:

Tasks:
  • Evaluate information form completeness, validity, relevance, quality, and sensitivity.
  • Manage the production and use of intelligence reports while protecting sources and methods.
  • Develop rapport and communicate with offices and partners.
  • Anticipate consumer needs, as well as educate consumers and other mission partners on methods, handling, and use of collection reporting.
  • Work with customer offices and U.S. government agencies to drive technical collection and projects towards its objectives.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of sources and methods, and the handling of technical collections to validate reporting.
  • Access collections of data to provide triage, or the review and dispositioning of documents, audio, electronic communication, or other matters for any potential information.
  • Author and coordinate on cable traffic and reports.
  • Track the status of exploitation requests to completion or to an acceptable level as direct by the customer.
  • Learn new technologies, such as artificial intelligence, large language models, or cryptographic encodings, and new tools to maximize exploitation efforts and provide feedback on those technologies and tools to developers.
  • Conduct research and apply knowledge of targets of technical collections or bulk datasets.
  • Present relevant findings or results of analytic services to technical and non-technical audiences, to include senior organizational management.
  • Respond to internal team and stakeholder inquires on analytic functions or services, as well as regularly support, involve, and liaise with other internal teams.
  • Be flexible in meeting customer requirements. For example, most analytic services or other request may be met during routine business hours but some requests may need expedited treatment and on occasion require extended hours.

Required Skills:
  • Demonstrated experience in authoring and coordinating on cable and intelligence reports.
  • Demonstrated experience evaluating information for completeness, validity, relevance, quality, sensitivity, and other intelligence thresholds.
  • Demonstrated experience using customer applications, tools, and technologies to evaluate information for intelligence thresholds.
  • Demonstrated experience applying counterintelligence and risk management principles to safeguard projects.

Desired Skills:
    • Demonstrated experience with data exploitation tools.
    • Demonstrated experience applying technical targeting tools to identify and exploit datasets and technical collections.
    • Demonstrated experience performing complex technical tasks with minimal direction.
    • Demonstrated experience with telecommunications concepts, virtual operations, cyber activities, and technical projects.
    • Demonstrated experience with different computer file structures, typical locations of documents, and proprietary file types.
    • Demonstrated experience developing or providing requirements to corporate tolls or applications.
    • Demonstrated experience teaching, presenting, or sharing substantive expertise or concepts associated with analytic services.
    • Demonstrated experience performing exploitation of technical collections and bulk datasets support of the China mission.
    • Demonstrated experience in the production of material for dissemination.
    • Demonstrated experience working in support of the Customer Operations.

Education Requirement
  • BA/BS (or equivalent experience)

Experience Requirement
  • 5-7 years of experience

*A candidate must be a US Citizen and requires an active/current TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
