Job Description

As a Security Officer - Overnight Control Access in Jupiter, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support access activity, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. This role calls for strong communication and customer service while working as part of a team. At Allied Universal, you will bring agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity to every shift.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a professional aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials as directed, helping to support controlled entry for authorized personnel, visitors, and/or deliveries.
• Communicate with site contacts, supervisors, and/or first responders when needed to relay incident details, request assistance, and support security-related operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card is required.
• Must possess Government Secret Clearance
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
