Systems Engineer
Why This is an Exciting Role:
As a Systems Engineer at Boeing Intelligence & Analytics (BI&A), this position will be supporting the Engineering Development and Early Integration Labs on the System Integration, Test, and Readiness (SITR) contract. In this role, you will be a Systems Engineer responsible for the integration and test of Ground-Based Midcourse Defense (GMD) products in the GMD Development and Integration Lab (GDIL) assisting in lab build-up and execution of upgrades, both hardware and software, of all GMD elements. You will develop and release related Test Plans, Procedures, and Engineering required to support test execution and be positioned to support the customer to execute critical testing in different lab environments.

Experience and Qualifications:
To be eligible for this demanding position, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following experience and qualifications:
Required Education and Years of Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (including manufacturing engineering technology), computer science, engineering data science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Experience and Qualifications:

- Performance of integration activities
- Support of test execution activities
- Capability to communicate and collaborate with various teams
- Ability to review documentation such as procedures and engineering drawings
- Demonstration of troubleshooting skills and configuration management best practices
- Support relevant meetings, reviews, briefings and working groups
- Work effectively in a team environment
Required Education and Years of Experience:

- Strong problem-solving skills
- Experience testing hardware and software
- Experience with maintaining procedural compliance
- Experience authoring procedures
- Experience in interpretation of testing requirements, test setup and closure, and distribution of test results.
- Experience in Aerospace Engineering or Electrical Engineering
Desired Qualifications:
- Active U.S. Secret Clearance (or higher)
- Aerospace Engineering or Electrical Engineering bachelor's degrees
- Experience in a GM program
- Experience with testing ground systems hardware and software
- Experience testing hardware and software in a secure environment
- Prior Aerospace testing experience
- Test conductor experience
- Quality Control understanding and experience
- Ability to identify root causes and recommend solutions
- Experience using system level drawings
