OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer to support and enhance a complex enterprise network environment. This role is focused on LAN/WAN infrastructure, advanced troubleshooting, and direct customer interaction. The ideal candidate is highly technical, proactive, and comfortable leading initiatives while serving as a key point of contact for network-related issues.

This role is focused on LAN/WAN infrastructure, advanced troubleshooting, and direct customer interaction. The ideal candidate is highly technical, proactive, and comfortable leading initiatives while serving as a key point of contact for network-related issues.
GENERAL DUTIES:
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and support across LAN/WAN network environments
- Serve as a primary interface with customers, clearly communicating technical issues, updates, and resolutions
- Lead network upgrades, migrations, and implementation projects from planning through execution
- Support and maintain network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, availability, and security
- Utilize network monitoring tools to proactively identify and resolve issues
- Coordinate and manage ticket queues, ensuring timely resolution and proper escalation when needed
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support network-related initiatives and incident response
- Document network configurations, procedures, and changes
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience OR Master's degree with 6+ years of experience
- DoD IAT Level II certification
- CCNA certification required
- Strong experience supporting and troubleshooting complex network environments
- Deep expertise in LAN/WAN technologies and network protocols
- Hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies
- Experience working in Juniper environments or supporting migrations from Juniper to Cisco
- Proven ability to lead network implementation and upgrade efforts
- Experience with network monitoring, maintenance, and ticketing systems
- Strong communication skills and experience working directly with customers
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- CCNP certification
- Experience in enterprise or government environments
- Familiarity with network security concepts and best practices
CLEARANCE:
- Active TS/SCI clearance required
