Onsite Job - DevOps Software Engineer-Test & Verification 3
Location: Colorado Springs, CO | Security Clearance: Secret | Shift: First (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM) | Travel: Up to 10% Domestic
About the Role
Indotronix is seeking a highly skilled DevOps Software Engineer-Test & Verification 3 to join our dynamic team in Colorado Springs. In this key onsite position, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software-intensive systems for national defense projects. You'll work in an Agile, fast-paced environment, collaborating with industry experts dedicated to innovation, security, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive automated and manual tests for mission-critical software systems
- Analyze system performance and validate C2BMC implementations within integrated test environments
- Create detailed test specifications, test cases, and supporting infrastructure to drive quality outcomes
- Participate in design and peer reviews to ensure all solutions are testable and meet stringent requirements
- Collaborate closely with developers and test engineers to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
- Test interfaces, messaging protocols, monitoring functions, failover processing, and playback capabilities
- Perform in-depth analysis and reporting on test results and system behaviors
- Support DevSecOps practices with a focus on continuous testing and rapid delivery cycles
- Proactively identify, communicate, and drive resolution for system and process issues
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Data Science, or a related STEM field
- 7+ years of relevant experience (with Bachelor's), 5+ years (with Master's), or 3+ years (with PhD)
- Demonstrated expertise in automated testing, software verification, and validation
- Strong experience working within Agile software development environments
- Excellent analytical, collaboration, and communication abilities
- Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (current or active within last 24 months)
- Security+ certification (or equivalent) required within 60 days of hire (preferred at start)
