This role requires a strong technical foundation in cloud environments, with the ability to understand and engage in architectural discussions, review solution designs, and guide teams through delivery processes.
You will be responsible for ensuring alignment between solution design and execution, supporting teams through implementation, and driving successful outcomes across complex technical initiatives.
Contributions
Responsibilities include:
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of cloud-based technical projects across the full project lifecycle
- Review and interpret architectural diagrams and technical designs to ensure alignment with project objectives and delivery plans
- Collaborate with architects and engineers to understand system architecture, dependencies, and technical trade-offs
- Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating complex concepts into actionable plans
- Guide and support teams through established delivery processes, ensuring clarity on roles, expectations, and next steps
- Proactively identify and manage risks, dependencies, and technical constraints across projects
- Support Agile delivery practices, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and stakeholder updates
- Ensure alignment between solution design and implementation, escalating gaps or risks as needed
- Drive accountability across cross-functional teams, including engineering, DevSecOps, and security stakeholders
- Support documentation, reporting, and status communication to ensure transparency across stakeholders
Qualifications
Required:
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience managing technical projects, with a focus on cloud-based solutions
- Demonstrated ability to understand and review architectural diagrams and technical designs
- Strong working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and associated services
- Ability to engage in technical discussions with architects and engineers, understanding system design, integrations, and dependencies
- Experience guiding teams through delivery processes, ensuring alignment, clarity, and execution of project objectives
- Experience managing full project lifecycle for complex technical implementations
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
- Proven ability to manage risks, dependencies, and technical challenges across projects
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
- Located in the Atlanta, GA metro area
Preferred:
- Prior experience in a technical role such as Cloud Engineer, Systems Engineer, or Solution Architect
- Cloud certification (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Experience supporting cloud migration or modernization efforts
- Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible)
- PMP, PMI-ACP, or equivalent certification
