You will serve as a key technical leader, working closely with delivery teams, stakeholders, and leadership to ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with business objectives.
Contributions
Responsibilities include:
- Lead the design and development of cloud solution architectures, ensuring scalability, security, and performance
- Translate business and technical requirements into end-to-end solution designs and architectural diagrams
- Partner with Technical Project Managers and delivery teams to ensure alignment between architecture and execution
- Participate in and support project planning, estimation, and delivery strategy, ensuring architectural considerations are reflected
- Guide engineering teams through implementation, providing clarity on architecture, integrations, and technical direction
- Review and validate technical deliverables to ensure adherence to architectural standards and design intent
- Identify and manage technical risks, dependencies, and trade-offs throughout the delivery lifecycle
- Support Agile delivery processes, including backlog refinement and sprint planning from a technical perspective
- Facilitate technical discussions with stakeholders, translating complex architecture into actionable insights
- Ensure solutions align with cloud best practices, including security, networking, and cost optimization
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to team members across engineering and delivery functions
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in cloud engineering, solution architecture, or related technical roles
- Demonstrated experience designing and delivering cloud-based architectures in AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Strong ability to create, review, and interpret architectural diagrams and system designs
- Experience translating requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable solution architectures
- Ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to drive alignment and decision-making
- Experience supporting or contributing to project delivery activities, including planning, estimation, and execution
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles, including networking, security, identity, and high availability
- Experience identifying and managing technical risks, dependencies, and constraints
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to guide teams through implementation
- Located in the Atlanta, GA metro area
Preferred:
- Experience serving in a technical lead or delivery leadership role across complex projects
- Cloud certification (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or GCP Professional Cloud Architect)
- Experience supporting cloud migration and modernization initiatives
- Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible)
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- PMP, PMI-ACP, or experience working closely with project/program management functions
