Job Description
One Federal Solution (OFS) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to lead and support logistics and labor-intensive programs across multiple warehouse locations. This role is critical to ensuring the success of high-volume, fast-paced operations that demand precise coordination, efficiency, and a safety-first mindset.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and support daily warehouse operations, including receiving, staging, sorting, inventory control, and outbound logistics.
Actively work alongside warehouse staff to fulfill labor requirements when needed, including lifting, moving, or organizing equipment and materials.
Lead by example on the warehouse floor to reinforce safety, productivity, and task completion across multiple shifts.
Coordinate the execution of daily work orders, ensuring teams are properly resourced and tasks are completed on time and to standard.
Serve as the senior on-site manager responsible for resolving immediate operational issues, shortages, or escalations.
Operate forklifts or other warehouse equipment as needed (if certified) and ensure all equipment is maintained properly.
Enforce OSHA standards and company safety procedures, while coaching staff on correct handling techniques and reporting.
Support recruiting, onboarding, and hands-on training of warehouse workers and crew leads.
Track and report productivity metrics, labor hours, and task completion status daily.
Serve as the point of contact between the warehouse floor and executive leadership for real-time updates and performance issues.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with 5–7 years in logistics or warehouse operations management.
Prior experience in construction-related environments or physical labor management highly preferred.
Strong leadership and team coordination abilities, with proven success in high-pressure, high-volume warehouse programs.
Ability to work onsite in Northern Virginia during standard operating hours (6:00 AM–5:00 PM).
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other relevant digital tools for warehouse/program management.
Excellent multitasking, organizational, and decision-making skills.
Location: Northern Virginia
Schedule: Monday–Friday, On-site (Occasional weekends may be required)
