Job Description

Canundra is seeking a PeopleSoft Administrator to join our team. This position can be based in either McLean, VA or Chantilly, VA.

A PeopleSoft Administrator will manage, maintain, and support our PeopleSoft environment. This role is responsible for system administration, performance tuning, upgrades, security, and ensuring the reliability and availability of PeopleSoft applications across the organization.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Administer and support PeopleSoft environments (development, test, and production).
• Install, configure, and maintain PeopleSoft application components using Oracle PeopleSoft and Oracle WebLogic Server.
• Perform system upgrades, patches, and maintenance packs.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues (batch processes, integration broker, application server domains).
• Manage PeopleSoft security (user roles, permissions, and access controls).
• Support PeopleSoft Process Scheduler and batch processing.
• Work with DBAs to optimize database performance (commonly Oracle Database, Microsoft SQL Server).
• Administer integrations with third-party systems (APIs, web services, file-based integrations).
• Manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Support migration activities using tools like Application Designer and Change Assistant.
• Provide technical support for PeopleSoft modules.
• Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
• Collaborate with developers, functional teams, and infrastructure teams.


Required Qualifications:
• Active/current TS/SCI with polygraph clearance is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3 - 7+ years of PeopleSoft administration experience.
• Strong experience with:
◦ PeopleTools installation and configuration
◦ Web/application server administration
◦ Integration Broker and process scheduling
• Hands-on experience with operating systems such as Linux or Windows Server.
• Experience with database platforms (Oracle, SQL Server).
• Knowledge of system monitoring and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with shell scripting or automation.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.



Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with PeopleSoft upgrades (PeopleTools and application upgrades).
• Knowledge of PeopleSoft Cloud deployments or hosting models.
• Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure or other cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices.
• Experience supporting high-availability environments.
• Understanding of security best practices and compliance standards.
• Experience with Elastic Search in PeopleSoft.
• Knowledge of PeopleSoft PUM (PeopleSoft Update Manager).
• Exposure to automation tools (Ansible, Jenkins, etc.).
• Basic SQL and performance tuning skills.
