Job Description
This position is fully onsite, based in either Colorado Springs, CO or Huntsville, AL.
We are looking for candidates with a strong engineering background and hands-on experience in software and systems environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing), Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry from an accredited institution
• Minimum experience requirements:
o 7+ years with a Bachelor’s degree
o 5+ years with a Master’s degree
o 3+ years with a PhD
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Effective communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
• Working knowledge of Agile software development methodologies
• Experience with automated testing and validating system/software requirements
• Ability to operate in collaborative, cross-functional engineering environments
Certifications
• Security+ (or equivalent certification) is required within 60 days of joining
• Candidates who already hold this certification will be given preference
Preferred Experience
• Experience working in a DevSecOps environment is highly desirable
• Familiarity with modern software development pipelines, integration, and deployment practices is a plus
