Job Title: Software Engineer-Developer 3

Location: Chantilly, VA, Aurora, CO, or Mesa, AZ

Salary Range: $90 - $100/hour

Introduction

The *** Company is seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer (Experienced) to join the FishTools program within the Ground Mission Management Software (GMM) team. We're seeking a highly talented, motivated, and creative software developer to engineer new solutions and support existing capabilities of an agile software program for the national intelligence community.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in an engineering discipline
  • Active Top-Secret U.S. Security Clearance with SCI eligibility (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active).
  • Ability to obtain Counterintelligence (CI) polygraph after start date
  • 3 years of experience designing and developing software for complex systems (i.e. Distributed Systems, Multi-Threaded and Multi-Process Applications) and a foundation in computer science and software development
  • 3 years of experience in object-oriented programming
  • Experience with distributed version control systems such as GitHub, IBM Rational Team Concert, etc.
  • Must have previous client experience working for this customer in the past 5 years


Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with cloud-based software systems and modern DevSecOps and Agile execution processes
  • Experience with UX design collaboration across large, multi-faceted scaled systems
  • Experience in developing consumer-facing web applications


Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Software development tasks including detailed software design, coding, and testing of customer desired features/user stories.
  • Analyzing customer requirements and ensuring software implementations meet functional requirements.
  • Briefing software designs and demonstrating software release functionality to peers.
  • Develop and sustain new and existing applications; as well as troubleshoot and resolve various software issues.
  • Contribute to the creation of new distributed components and interactions that align with the future system architecture.
