In this role, you will lead the architecture and implementation of CMDB and core ServiceNow modules, ensuring accurate configuration data, platform scalability, and secure integration across mission-critical systems. You will work closely with stakeholders and technical teams to deliver high-impact solutions that strengthen IT operations and visibility across the enterprise.

Blue Rose Consulting Group, Inc. (Blue Rose) is seeking a skilled ServiceNow CMDB Technical Architect to support a federal client in designing, optimizing, and governing enterprise ServiceNow environments.
In this role, you will lead the architecture and implementation of CMDB and core ServiceNow modules, ensuring accurate configuration data, platform scalability, and secure integration across mission-critical systems. You will work closely with stakeholders and technical teams to deliver high-impact solutions that strengthen IT operations and visibility across the enterprise.
What You'll Do
As a ServiceNow CMDB Technical Architect, you will:
- Lead the design, architecture, and governance of the ServiceNow CMDB
- Define and implement best practices for data modeling, discovery, and service mapping
- Architect and support ServiceNow ITSM and ITOM module implementations
- Ensure data integrity, normalization, and lifecycle management across configuration items
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business and operational requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Oversee integrations between ServiceNow and enterprise systems such as AWS, monitoring tools, and incident platforms
- Support platform optimization, automation, and performance improvements
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development and engineering teams
- Ensure alignment with federal security, compliance, and DevSecOps standards
- Maintain documentation for architecture, configurations, and operational processes
- Full-time (40 hours/week)
- Hybrid role with on-site support in Washington, D.C. as required
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Public Trust clearance required or higher
Minimum of 5-8 years of experience with:
- ServiceNow platform development and architecture
- ServiceNow Configuration Management Database (CMDB) design and administration
- ServiceNow IT Service Management (ITSM)
- ServiceNow IT Operations Management (ITOM)
Preferred experience includes:
- Cloud environments such as AWS
- Monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Splunk, Dynatrace)
- Identity and access management solutions (e.g., Okta)
- Incident and alerting platforms (e.g., PagerDuty)
- Database technologies such as PostgreSQL
- Exposure to AI/automation capabilities within enterprise platforms
- Strong understanding of system integrations, APIs, and data flows
- Experience working in Agile and DevSecOps environments
- Lead architecture for mission-critical ServiceNow environments supporting federal programs
- Work with modern tools and enterprise-scale platforms across cloud and IT operations
- Collaborate with high-performing technical teams in a secure, mission-driven environment
