Job Title: Assistant Dormitory Manager
Job Summary:
Support the U.S. Department of Homeland Securitys training mission at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) in Charleston, South Carolina. As DAWSONs Assistant Dormitory Manager, you will support the Dormitory Manager in overseeing daily dormitory housekeeping and guest services operations to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for resident students. You will assist in supervising staff, coordinating operations, and ensuring compliance with all contractual and FLETC requirements to maintain high-quality housing services that support student readiness and training success.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing daily dormitory operations across assigned buildings, ensuring delivery of high-quality housing services.
- Support planning, scheduling, and execution of dormitory functions including housekeeping, laundry, janitorial services, and registration.
- Supervise dormitory staff in the absence of the Dormitory Manager.
- Assist in establishing work schedules and assigning daily and weekly tasks.
- Support student registration and housing operations including room assignments and roster management.
- Maintain accurate dormitory records, logs, and inventory tracking.
- Ensure compliance with FLETC policies, privacy requirements, and conduct standards.
- Assist in overseeing housekeeping and janitorial operations.
- Support laundry operations including collection, cleaning, and distribution of linens.
- Ensure timely room readiness for incoming students.
- Conduct routine inspections and quality control checks.
- Identify and report maintenance and facility issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, PPE, and chemical handling requirements.
- Assist in implementing and maintaining SOPs.
- Provide training, guidance, and oversight to staff.
- Support accountability of government-furnished property and supplies.
- Assist in preparing operational and inventory reports.
- Coordinate with security, maintenance, warehouse, and administrative personnel.
- Respond to student concerns and assist in resolving issues.
- Maintain workforce accountability and monitor performance.
- Maintain accurate timekeeping in timecard and Costpoint systems.
- Assist in monitoring employee timekeeping for accuracy.
- Support onboarding, training, and performance management.
- Assist with purchase reconciliation and reporting requirements.

Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in dormitory operations, hospitality, housekeeping, or facility services.
- Demonstrated ability to support supervision of staff and operations.
- Working knowledge of housekeeping procedures and safety regulations.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in English and basic computer operations.
Additional Requirements:
- Must be eligible for DHS background investigation and suitability clearance.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident with work authorization.
- This position may require the operation of Company-provided vehicles.
- If operating Company-provided vehicles, maintaining a valid drivers license is required.
- If operating Company-provided vehicles, employee must comply with all vehicle and safety policies.
- If operating Company-provided vehicles, the Company may review your motor vehicle record (MVR).
- If operating Company-provided vehicles, you must notify the Company of any changes to your driving status.
- Work schedules are determined by management and may be modified at any time.
