Position Description

ENSCO is seeking an Office Custodian to perform assigned custodial tasks, which include general cleaning of restrooms,offices,cafeteria,entrances, classrooms, conference rooms and other common areas.
Custodial tasks often include the following:
• Empty wastebaskets and replace liner as needed
• Dust/clean tops of office furniture, desks and tables
• Vacuum all carpeting & spot clean soiled areas when needed, Sweep floors and damp mop non-carpeted flooring with disinfectant
• Sanitize and clean toilets, basins, and urinals, Clean sink, counters, mirrors fixtures, and damp mop tile floors
• Refill all restroom dispensers as needed
• Spot clean walls, partitions, and doors
• Wipe/clean all tabletops, chairs, vending machines, appliances, etc.
• Ensure custodial supplies are stocked, and maintain tidy and organized custodial closets.

Qualifications Required
• Basic knowledge of custodial duties and janitorial responsibilities
• Minimum of 2 to 4 years of related experience
• Knowledge of cleaning equipment including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, waxing, scrubbing, buffing, and applying finishes on different flooring materials
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques and processes
• Knowledge of the qualities and uses of various cleaning, sanitizing, stripping, and waxing compounds
• Experience in cleaning and sanitizing washrooms
• Ability to follow directions and work within guidelines
• Must be able to read, understand and follow units of measure on product labels
• Satisfactory personal appearance and hygiene within company guidelines
• Must maintain professional demeanor and be a team player
• Demonstrated ability of maintaining janitorial equipment in a clean, safe and operable condition
• Repetitive motion involved on a daily basis may include, but not limited to, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, reaching, climbing, and squatting
• Requires stooping, kneeling, crawling, bending, turning, and reaching into areas not fully air conditioned
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time to include climbing/descending stairwells and ladders
• Ability to maintain janitor closets in a clean, organized and safe manner and according to company guidelines and all regulations
• Requires physical exertion to manually move, lift, carry, pull, or push heavy objects or materials up to 50 pounds

Salary Range
