Job Description
Professional Project Manager:
- Manage facility/construction projects end-to-end (planning, design, procurement, construction, and closeout) with full ownership of scope, schedule, and budget
- Support government contracting efforts including RFPs, bid evaluations, site visits, and cost/price analysis
- Oversee design and construction activities, including submittals, inspections, change orders, and contractor coordination
- Maintain project reporting, documentation, and PMIS updates; communicate status, risks, and issues to stakeholders
- Lead project meetings and coordinate across government personnel, contractors, and internal teams
- Support project closeout, including turnover, move coordination, system installation (IT, furniture, security), and documentation
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s (technical field), 5+ years experience in construction/facilities PM
- Must be knowledgeable of construction disciplines, to include civil, architectural, mechanical, electrical, and electronic engineering and information technology principles.
- PMP or CCM preferred
- Strong knowledge of construction disciplines + Microsoft Office
- Broad-based understanding of project management with strong planning, problem solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain overview of entire project while continuing to attend to detailed technicalities.
