Summary:
• Lead the development, maintenance, and enhancement of advanced Big Data Cloud systems.
• Apply deep expertise across the full software development lifecycle, including software development, testing, requirements analysis, and architectural design.
• Focus on robust cloud repository and Big Data environments, with a strong emphasis on system security.
Qualifications & Compensation:
Degree: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or related discipline. A degree may be subsituted for 4 additional years of experience.
Years of experience: 12+ years
Salary: $314k+ yearly compensation
Job Description:
• Design, develop, and implement complex Big Data Cloud solutions leveraging technologies such as Java, Javascript, Spring Boot and Hadoop.
• Utilize programming languages including Java, Python, Ruby, and Bash for system development and scripting.
• Build and maintain secure systems with a focus on Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and overall System Security.
• Work with JVM environments and Linux operating systems, including virtualization technologies like VMWare and Virtual Box.
• Develop and integrate applications using Restful Web Services.
• Manage build processes with Maven and resource management with Yarn.
• Employ data serialization formats like Apache Avro and utilize Dataflow for efficient data processing and analysis.
• Perform requirements analysis, software testing, and contribute to software architecture design.
• Utilize version control systems such as Subversion and defect tracking systems like ClearQuest.
• Engage in the complete software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment, ensuring high-quality and scalable solutions.
• Demonstrate proficiency with various development and operational tools and methodologies relevant to large-scale data environments.
