We are experiencing growth and seeking to hire an Electrical Integration Engineer.
What You Will Be Doing
The Electrical Integration Engineer will support harness checkout in the System Integration Lab (SIL), assist with electrical integration of seeker subsystems, and help execute related test activities.
This role is designed for an early-career engineer (1 + year experience) eager to develop hands-on skills while working with senior leadership and external customers in a dynamic development environment.
Scope of Work
• Assist in harness checkout and verification activities under supervision.
• Support integration of seeker subsystem wiring, connectors, and power distribution.
• Perform basic functional testing of harnesses and subsystems using lab equipment.
• Work with multi-disciplinary teams to identify and resolve integration issues.
• Contribute to technical briefings and status updates for senior leadership and customers.
Basic Qualifications:
• 1+ years of experience and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Ability to obtain/maintain an Active Secret clearance.
• Familiarity with oscilloscopes, VNAs, and basic electrical test equipment (lab courses, internships, or junior-level work).
• Hands-on experience (academic projects, co-ops, or internships) fabricating or troubleshooting electrical wiring/harnesses.
• Basic understanding of serial communication interfaces such as RS-232.
• Ability to present technical information clearly to senior staff and external stakeholders.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving program requirements.
Desired Skills:
• Introductory experience with PCB layout or cable design from coursework or projects.
• Basic knowledge of digital, analog, and RF circuit concepts.
• Exposure to electrical simulation tools (e.g., SPICE, Altium Designer) through academic labs.
• Participation in multi-disciplinary team projects (e.g., senior capstone, group design labs).
• Interest in simulation environments and flight-software integration (training provided).
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
