Job Description

As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver in Wichita, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a leading aero and defense location, where you will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify entry permissions for employees, visitors, and/or deliveries in accordance with site protocols and restricted-area requirements.
• Support daily operations by completing routine reports, communicating clearly with site personnel, and following post orders while working in environments and conditions that may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
