We have an outstanding Contract position for an Embedded S/W Engineer to join a leading Company located in the Grand Prairie, TX surrounding area.
**US Citizenship is required.**
**Candidate must possess an Active Secret Security Clearance.**

Basic Hiring Criteria:
- Bachelor's in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering or related field. The candidate must have previous HWIL experience working with real-time embedded systems using both HW/SW.
- 8+ years of experience as a C/C++ real-time embedded software engineer with hands-on Hardware-In-the-Loop experience.
- Proficiency in C/C++ (version 11 or higher for C++).
- Proficiency in Linux systems and Real-Time Operating Environment.
- Experience working in cross-disciplinary/cross-functional teams.
- Experience in integrating hardware and software.
- Experience in real-time software generation, with hands-on experience related to hardware testing and/or embedded systems and/or simulation systems.
- Ability to physically come on-site in Dallas and work in labs to support integration.
- Candidate must have software development experience for Hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) setup .
Desired Qualifications:
- Master's or greater in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Ada experience.
- Full software development life cycle experience.
- Git, Gitlab, JIRA.
- Agile experience (scrum).
- Experience integrating closed-loop systems.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks as well as unit testing.
- Experience with low-level software development /device drivers.
