PDS Defense, Inc. is seeking a Supply Chain Management Analyst II to join our team in San Antonio, TX. This role plays a vital part in improving operational efficiency by analyzing supply chain data and supporting inventory, logistics, procurement, and vendor performance initiatives.
Position Summary
The Supply Chain Management Analyst II analyzes supply chain data to identify inefficiencies, reduce costs, and optimize product flow. This role supports demand forecasting, performance tracking, and system optimization while collaborating closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Analysis & Modeling
- Collect, analyze, and interpret supply chain data to identify inefficiencies and cost-saving opportunities
- Maintain databases and generate recurring and ad hoc performance reports
- Inventory & Logistics Management
- Monitor warehouse inventory levels to prevent shortages or excess
- Support transportation optimization to ensure on-time delivery
- Performance Tracking
- Develop and maintain KPIs and dashboards to measure operational efficiency and supply chain performance
- Forecasting & Planning
- Align inventory requirements with Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) to support demand forecasting and continuity of supply
- Vendor Collaboration
- Serve as a liaison with suppliers
- Monitor vendor performance and support negotiations when required
- System Optimization
- Manage and maintain Master Data within ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field
- Typically:
- 3+ years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree
- 1+ year of related experience with a Master's degree
- Or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Technical Skills
- Strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle
- Working knowledge of SQL and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau)

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to analyze large datasets and identify root causes
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including logistics, procurement, and sales
