Job Responsibilities:
- Improves operational efficiency by analyzing data related to inventory, logistics, and procurement to reduce costs and optimize product flow. They maintain databases, create performance reports, manage demand forecasting, and collaborate with vendor s.
- Data Analysis & Modeling: Collect, analyze, and interpret data to identify supply chain inefficiencies and cost-saving opportunities.
- Inventory & Logistics Management: Monitor warehouse stock levels and optimize transportation routes for on-time delivery
- Performance Tracking: Develop and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and dashboards to measure operational efficiency.
- Forecasting & Planning: Align inventory requirements with sales and operations planning (S&OP) to prevent shortages.
- Vendor Collaboration: Act as a liaison with suppliers, monitoring their performance and negotiating , if necessary .
- System Optimization: Manage and update Master Data in ERP/MRP systems.
Basic Hiring Criteria:
- Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
- Key skills include proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP), SQL, Excel, and strong analytical problem-solving capabilities.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in Excel (pivot tables, vlookups) and experience with ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and data visualization tools like Tableau.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze large datasets to identify root causes of problems and develop solutions.
- Communication: Interpersonal skills to work with cross-functional teams, including logistics, procurement, and sales.
