Job Description
PDS Defense, Inc. is seeking a FAA Shipside Operations Specialist 2, in San Antonio, TX
Job Description:
Assist with activities across multiple functions to coordinate resolution of emergent issues in support of specific operations. Conducts assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria. Provides limited feedback on assessment results. Support the teammates in implementation of strategies and plans. Works under general supervision.
Position Responsibilities:
* Use technical knowledge, understanding of process flow, and networking skills to ensure issues are addressed and resolved by responsible support organization.
* Conducts assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria.
* Analyzes and interprets data.
* Provides feedback on assessment results.
* Assist organizations in identifying recurring and high impact issues.
* Supports root cause analysis and corrective action plan to address recurring and high impact issues.
* Facilitate ongoing coordination and tracking of open items.
* Provide guidance and coaching to less experienced teammates.
* Works under general direction
Required Skills:
* 1+ years of Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing experience
* 1+ years of experience with operations analysis or operations research
* 1+ years of experience with root cause analysis and corrective action
* Must have analytical, communication, and problem solving skills
Preferred Skills:
* 3+ years' experience utilizing Microsoft Office applications such as SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project
* 3+ years' experience in the airline/aerospace industry
* Experience working with customers
Education / Experience: High School or GED
