General Summary:
Under limited direction, the Military Construction (MILCON) Project Management Associate will provide operational support to various Military Construction, Energy, and Renovation projects for Information Technology/Operational Technology (IT/OT) technical, security, and hardening requirements.

Under limited direction, the Military Construction (MILCON) Project Management Associate will provide operational support to various Military Construction, Energy, and Renovation projects for Information Technology/Operational Technology (IT/OT) technical, security, and hardening requirements.
- Associate will be responsible for multiple projects and lines of effort and will provide dedicated Project Management (PM) or Product Technical Management (PTM) support.
- Associate will be a member of a critical function within the AMC Project Management team supporting people, processes, and MILCON programs with IT/OT requirements in alignment to business goals.
- The associate will be performing duties in direct support of project, program, and portfolio management including data entry, documentation, analysis, reporting and developing recommendations.
- The associate will be a member of a highly collaborative and fast-paced team that is intensely focused on IT/OT requirements, policy, and construction-related programs.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential functions)
- Develop and interpret policies in specific program areas and provides leadership, coordination, and authoritative advice to top officials in the development of cooperative relationships, resulting in the formulation and execution of progressive and comprehensive programs that meet Army goals and objectives.
- Track program processes, procedures, guidance, and requirements of major issues, including program goals; objectives; work processes; and administrative operations of the organization using law regulations and policies through a project life cycle.
- Direct, administer, and evaluate programs, policies, and procedures in the required program areas.
- Revise Project Management Plans and best business practices, as required.
- Maintain a good relationship with customer(s) and on-site staff ensuring responsiveness to both.
- Coordinate and assist with project transition and phase in tasks.
- Periodically confer with on-site project personnel and supervisors to ensure technical questions are being resolved.
- Follow QA procedures to ensure quality control performed by others is properly implemented throughout projects.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of complex Excel spreadsheets.
- Develop project schedules to include milestones.
- Ensure project budgetary goals are being met.
- Write detailed daily reports pertaining to job milestones.
- Coordinate project work internally within the department and externally with other departments to ensure all projects are completed on time.

Required Experience
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a related business field
- Minimum of 7-9 years work related experience
- Active Secret security clearance; US citizenship required
- Ability to clearly present and communicate technical approaches and findings
- Proficient using MS Office applications
- Requires Task Management and system analysis/analytical and evaluative methods: including techniques concerning the efficiency and effectiveness of program operations to include attention to detail; customer service; oral communication; and problem solving
- Demonstrated background in technology and engineering functions, and the ability to envision the future and constantly evolve the organization's capabilities to support customers
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Ability to act independently and to coordinate the work of other employees and contractors
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience reviewing and validating Information Technology and Operational Technology requirements
- Experience supporting Army or other Department of Defense organizations
- Experience leading Integrated Product Team (IPT) Meetings and Program Management Reviews (PMR)s
- Experience with Army Portfolio Management System (APMS)
- Experience with eMASS and/or Risk Management Framework (RMF)
- Experience reviewing complex technical, design, and/or engineering documents
- Knowledge of Unified Facility Criteria (UFC) and Unified Facility Guide Specifications (UFGS)
- Knowledge of PAX/CAPCES systems
- Understanding of the Army Program Objective Memorandum (POM) process
