Job Description
Piper Companies is seeking an energetic Talent Acquisition Specialist to perform full-cycle recruiting across cleared and non-cleared positions, supporting federal programs and internal stakeholders. The Talent Acquisition Specialist is a fully remote role.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage full-cycle recruitment for federal, cleared, and non-cleared roles, from requisition intake through offer acceptance
· Utilize Workday as the primary applicant tracking system to manage requisitions, candidate workflows, compliance documentation, and reporting
· Post, manage, and optimize job advertisements on Indeed and other recruitment platforms to attract qualified candidates
· Source and screen candidates with active or eligible U.S. Government security clearances (e.g., Secret, Top Secret, TS/SCI)
· Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements, clearance needs, and program timelines
· Conduct candidate screenings, interviews, and salary discussions in alignment with internal policies and federal regulations
Qualifications of the Senior TA Specialist:
· 2-3+ years of full-life cycle recruitment in IT/federal programs
· Hands-on experience using Workday ATS for requisition management, candidate tracking, and reporting
· Hands on experience using multiple sourcing applications including Indeed, LinkedIn Recruiter, Monster, Clearance Jobs, Dice
· Must have experience recruiting for defense, intelligence or federal civilian programs
· Familiarity with clearance processes
· Strong understanding of federal hiring compliance, background checks and clearance processes
· Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree
· Bilingual (English & Spanish) preferred, not required
· Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance
Compensation for the Senior TA Specialist:
· Salary: $60,000 - $75,000, commensurate with experience
· Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision (through Cigna), 401k, Sick leave required as by law
