We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Program Manager to help lead the execution of a broad range of contractor services in support on the NISSC III contract. This is an important National Security mission for defense of the United States. The primary location for this effort is in Colorado Springs, Colorado. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience to help the U.S. Space Force to meet their mission requirements.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Program Manager to help lead the execution of a broad range of contractor services in support on the NISSC III contract. This is an important National Security mission for defense of the United States. The primary location for this effort is in Colorado Springs, Colorado. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience to help the U.S. Space Force to meet their mission requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Program Manager in serving as an interface between the Contractor and the Government Program Manager (GPM), Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR), and other key stakeholders. Ensure seamless communication and alignment across all parties involved.
- Support and oversee major aspects of Task Order execution, including project planning, administration, quality assurance, and performance management, to meet cost, schedule, and technical objectives.
- Provide strategic direction, supervision, and leadership to ensure successful contract execution while maintaining high standards of professionalism, ethical conduct, and customer satisfaction.
- Help manage day-to-day program operations to ensure effective resource utilization, timely delivery of project milestones, and resolution of any production-related issues. This includes oversight of systems, tools, equipment, software, and facilities.
- Monitor and track all assigned tasks ensuring they are properly logged, assigned, and completed on time. Maintain accurate records in designated databases or systems and ensure customers receive the expected deliverables.
- Help maintain the overall quality, efficiency, and compliance of both technical and business processes associated with the contract, identifying and mitigating risks as necessary.
- Supervise all Program Office activities and make recommendations to the Program Manager to increase efficiency and productivity across the contract.
- Supervise the hiring and maintenance of the workforce across the contract and make personnel recommendations to the Program Manager.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field with 8+ years of relevant experience; Additional experience, training, and/or certifications may substitute degree requirement.
- US Citizen; Currently possessing an Active DoD Secret clearance with ability to upgrade to TS/SCI upon hire.
- 5+ years of project management experience leading large-scale intelligence, IT, C2 or software related support programs or organizations.
- PMP certification (PMI) or equivalent DAU certification, or ability to obtain within 180 days of hire
- Demonstrated leadership in operations or mission support.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Microsoft Suite and SharePoint and other Document Management, Engineering and Collaboration Tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in related field with 6+ years of experience
- Active DoD TS/SCI clearance
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to communicate and advocate discipline-related knowledge, services, and programs
- Recent experience and in-depth knowledge of NISSC II operations and leadership
- PMP or equivalent DAU certification
